Let’s talk about moisturizers!
I vehemently change up my face washes and moisturizers after I finish the product just so my face does not get used to one product. I also love when my face is smooth, supple and plump / hydrated. When I do my skincare routine.... I layer. My face is my own personal parfait that I layer upon layer all the products to get the most baby like skin texture.
With all that being said, I’d love to introduce to you my new favorite moisturizer: Glow Recipe Watermelon Pink Juice Moisturizer.
This new moisturizer has changed the game for my face! Not only does it keep my face super hydrated and moisturized, it also is quickly absorbed and smells absolutely delightful.
Seriously: DE-LIGHT-FUL.
The Feels:
The consistency is a bit different than what I’m normally used to. Most lotions and creams I use for my face are just that: lotion or a cream. Usually a milky consistency that’s slightly thick that I slather allover my face. This, my friend, is far from it. It’s the consistency of a slightly more liquid Aloe Vera, but pink! I do one pump and spread evenly over my face (after layering my serums and squareness oil) and neck and breathe in that watermelon scented goodness.
The Package:
This creme hydrants comes in a glass pump bottle. It’s a hefty weighted moisturizer, not your average plastic pump bottle. It’s a clear bottle so you can see when you’re running low on the juice. It’s available in 3 different sizes:
- 25ml
- 60ml
- 95ml
The Insides:
Oooof. The goodies. It’s got vitamins and amino acid rich watermelon extract, hyaluronic acids and other floral extracts.
What it does not contain? pthalates, parabens, mineral oils, and drying alcohols. You don’t want that on your face. Plus they’re cruelty free!
I’ve been loving this moisturizer so far and am contemplating if I stay with it or change to a new one to keep reviewing products. It’s honestly one I was most surprised about since I initially thought I was going to hate it. I first received a sample and was blown away by the results.
How good is it really? Well, I am 37 and I am sitting on Paramount Studios’ lot playing a 15yo child right now. That good.
