Loud Noises

Where I live, fireworks season starts late April and goes on until about August. It's beautiful to watch, but the noises SCARES THE CRAP out of my dog. He shakes uncontrollably and only wants to bury his face in my arms. I've closed the windows but some of them just are extremely too loud and his poor little ears can't take it.

It's his "Thunder Buddy" blanket. I wrap it around him and it instantly calms him down. He's not shaking as much, he can tolerate most of the fireworks better, and can go about his night without too much stress.

According to the AKC: It's designed to apply constant pressure on a dog's torso, similar to a parent swaddling a child, this pressure applying methodology provides a calming effect for most dogs.

I've had this for about 2 years now and am so glad that it's helped him so much from being frightened from all the noises. He's still cautious around the noises, but its not as debilitating.

Have you tried this jacket? Do you have any other tricks/tips? Just want to share a picture of your little furball? Share below!!! :)
